Anti-fogging Agents

Adsorption of water droplets on the plastic's surface can result in fogging which can disrupt the passage of light (in transparent packaging applications, agricultural films). In order to prevent fogging and change the hydrophillic properties of the plastic surface, anti-fogging agents are added. Post addition of these agents, the water droplets convert into a uniform transparent layer of water, reducing the clouding effect and enhancing the transparency of the plastic.
