EPOXOL® CA118

EPOXOL® CA118 by ACS Technical Products is a VOC-free, highly efficient aliphatic coalescing agent and plasticizer. It is a non-hazardous, non-fugitive, non-yellowing, non-migratory and non-volatile grade used in plastics, PVC and elastomers. It is suitable for polyaspartic, urethane, polyester, acrylic and epoxy products. It is very hydrophobic and has no/low odor, low HLB & very low viscosity.

• It is also used as a polymer and emulsion modifier.
• It has a high bio-derived content, making it an excellent choice for renewable formulations.
• It exhibits superior plasticization, excellent solvency and excellent water resistance.
• It is excellent at suppressing the glass transition temperature (Tg) of latex emulsions and its high partitioning coefficient minimizes dirt pick-up and helps in low-humidity coalescence.
• It can replace alcohol esters, glycol ethers, low VOC coalescing agents, benzoates, phthalates and citrate ester plasticizers.
• EPOXOL® CA118 has a minimum shelf life of 36 months.
