ADD-VANCE® NU 559 (formerly: ADD-VANCE ® 559)

PP based high performance nucleation masterbatch. It outperforms traditional agents such as talc and benzoate salts. It is formulated to increase both crystallization rate and number of spherulites in a polymer. The faster crystallization allows greater productivity in molding as well as extrusion processes and increased number of spherulites helps to improve stiffness as well as heat deflection temperature. ADD-VANCE® NU 559 offers an improved product isotropy which results in low warpage. Exhibits unique shrink characteristics, physical properties balance and crystallization effects to improve performance in manufacturing speed, product performance and part specification compliance. It provides lower gas transmission rates, upto 50% in HDPE blown film and improves clarity in LLDPE, PP film. Used in extruded and injection molded articles made from PP & PE resins. Can also be used in extruded tapes and blow molded, compression molded, injection molded articles, such as automotive parts, appliances and closures.
