ADD-VANCE® Start & Stop (formerly: ADD-VANCE ® 553)

PP based shutdown masterbatch. It is a ready-to-use synergistic blend of processing stabilizers and heat stabilizers. It protects polymer during production operations at high temperatures by decomposing reactive hydroperoxides. Can be processed like general thermoplastic granules, processing conditions (temperatures) do not need to be changed. Recommended for stabilization of PP/PE in the extruder during shut-down periods to prevent formation of black spots. It is suitable to be used for thermoplastic polymers.
