ALKANOX® 240 by Addivant is phenol, 2,4-bis(1,1-dimetylethyl)-phosphite (3:1). Acts as an antioxidant in a multitude of polymers such as polyolefins, polycarbonate, ABS and polyesters. Exhibits very good hydrolytic stability. Possesses low volatility and it also reduces the peroxide induced oxidative degradation of most polymeric substances during processing. It is available in white, free-flowing powder or granules.
