NAUGARD® I-31

Blend of N-(1,4-dimethylpentyl)-N'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine and 2-sec-butyl-4,6-dinitrophenol. Acts as a polymerization inhibitor. Exhibits superior performance to dinitrophenol polymerization inhibitors, especially at elevated temperatures. Is a unique blend of both a true inhibitor (I-3) and a retarder (I-5). Offers higher solubility in ethylbenzene and styrene than dinitrophenol inhibitors.
