Dabco® T-131

Dabco® T-131 by Evonik is a high-activity organotin gelation catalyst used in a broad range of polyurethane foam and elastomer formulations. It was specially developed to provide delayed-action catalysis of the urethane polymerization, or gelling, reaction. By delaying the gelation of the urethane reaction, an extended time period is obtained versus that currently available with most tin catalyst systems. This delay in cream time allows increased foamrise, mold fill or material travel time, depending upon the processing method employed. Dabco® T-131 is recommended for use in polyester slabstock foam, high resiliency flexible moulded foam, and microcellular systems. It also finds use in rigid spray foam applications.
