EFOX 40 by AKPA Kimya is tert-butyl peroxy isobutyrate. It is used as an initiator for ethylene during copolymerization under high pressure. It is suitable for pipe type and autoclave processes. It can be used during polymerization of styrene at temperatures between 85-105°C. It is suitable for copolymerization of acrylonitrile, acrylate and methacrylate. It is designed for use in pultrusion. The shelf life of EFOX 40 is 3 months. It complies with REACH regulation EC No 1907/2006, regulation EC No 1272/2008 and commission regulation EU No 2015/830.
