Akrochem® Beeswax

AAkrochem® Beeswax by Akrochem is a natural occurring wax, secreted from common honey bee. It is a mixture of crude cerotic acid, myricin, an ester of myricyl alcohol and myricyl palmitate (palmitic acid). It is firm and non-greasy in the touch. Akrochem® Beeswax improves the surface finish of molded goods in rubber compounding, as a mold lubricant and release agent. It does not affect processing safety, cure rate, physical properties and not interfere with adhesion to metal when used at typical levels (up to 2 phr).
