SP-560 Resin

SP-560 Resin (Old Name: Akrochem® P-03) by Akrochem is a thermoplastic, oil-soluble, terpene phenolic resin-based tackifier. SP-560 Resin when blends in any proportion with heat reactive resins, improves high-temperature performance. In order to improve high-temperature performance, it may be blended in any proportion with heat reactive resins. The heat resistance of the adhesive formulation increases with the percentage of heat-reactive resin, but this will be gained at the expense of decreasing open time. It shows compatibility with a variety of drying oils, waxes and synthetic rubbers.
