Akroform® HMT-65/SBR/P

Akroform® HMT-65/SBR/P by Akrochem is 65% polymeric dispersion of hexamethylenetetramine in SBR binder. It acts as an efficient accelerator for sulfenamide and thiazole. It is also used as a hardener for phenolic resins. It is a non-blooming methylene donor and used with resorcinol (with silica) to make rubber-to-fabric adhesion possible. It eliminates irritating dust and other potential hazards in handling powder in plants, when encapsulated with chemical dispersion. In Akroform® HMT-65/SBR/P polymer-bound dispersions are a proven means of upgrading plant safety, quality and raw material control. It shows better uniformity of the mix at lowering processing temperature. This masterbatch provides a high degree of cross-linking. Recommended dosage level is 1.2-2 phr.
