Akrowax™ 135 Synthetic Paraffin by Akrochem is a mixture of linear and branched paraffin hydrocarbons. It acts as a viscosity modifier, protectorant, gelling- and slip agent in rubber. It does not produce thick wax-like normal paraffin waxes. Akrowax™ 135 Synthetic Paraffin is used as an indirect or direct food additive. Recommended dosage level in typical loading is 2-4 phr and highly loaded compounds is 4-8 phr. The grade complies with FDA.
