Perkadox® 16-40XPS

Perkadox 16-40XPS by Nouryon is Di(4-tert-butylcylcohexyl) peroxydicarbonate, paste, 40% in solvent mixture. Acts as a polymerization initiator and curing agent. It may be used in combination with a low reactive peroxide to insure a good final cure. The combination of Perkadox 16-40XPS with Trigonox C, Trigonox 29-C75, Trigonox 21S or Trigonox 42S can be successfully used in applications where a long gel time or manufacturing time is required at room temperature to give a fast cure at elevated temperatures of 60-140°C. This grade is compatible with unsaturated polyester resins and methacrylic resins. It has a shelf life of three months.
