Perkalite® AF50 by Nouryon is aluminum magnesium layered double hydroxide (LDH) modified with mixture of rosin and saturated fatty acid. It offers improved thermo-mechanical and flame-retardant properties. It exhibits improved barrier and/or rheological properties. It is compatible with natural rubber (NR) and styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR). Perkalite® AF50 is used in the manufacture of plastic materials and articles intended to come in contact with foodstuffs.
