Perkalite® F100 by Nouryon is a flame retardant and nucleating agent. It is aluminum magnesium layered double hydroxide (LDH) modified with hydrogenated fatty acid. This additive offers improved thermo-mechanical properties. Perkalite® F100 exhibits improved barrier and rheological properties. It is used in the manufacture of plastic materials and articles intended to come in contact with foodstuffs. It is also used in the bromobutyl rubber (BIIR), butyl rubber (IIR), EPDM, EVA, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, polyamide, polypropylene (PP), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR).
