Trigonox® 117 by Nouryon is an initiator for (co)polymerization of ethylene, acrylates and methacrylates. It is a curing agent for unsaturated polyester resins. It is used as an initiator for the polymerization and copolymerization of styrene in the temperature range between 100°C and 130°C. Trigonox® 117 can be used to crosslink elastomers at intermediate temperature, 150°C. It is recommended for highly demanding applications e.g. as crosslinker for the ethylene vinylacetate copolymer (EVA) film in photovoltaic devices. The shelf life of this product is 3 months.
