Trigonox® 249A VR

Methyl ethyl ketone peroxide and cumyl hydroperoxide, solution in 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol diisobutanoate. Used as a curing agent for unsaturated polyester, vinyl ester and acrylic thermosetting resins. Being thermally unstable substance, it may undergo self-accelerating decomposition. Used in centrifugal casting, continuous casting, cured in place pipe (CIPP), fiberglass reinforced plastics, filament winding, hand lay-up & spray-up, In situ pipe renovation, polymer concrete/marble, resin transfer molding, thermoset composites and vinyl ester resin curing.
