Dissipates the static electrical charges that builds up on plastic materials causing them to be functionally or aesthetically unacceptable. Surface active chemistry combined with polymer technology has led to the development of effective products for use as both internal and external antistatic agent in applications ranging from packing film, conveyor belting, flooring and consumer durables. Also used as viscosity depressant.
