Modern Mattes™

Modern Mattes™ by Ampacet is a masterbatch for PET to provide cost-effective high impact and consistent high quality luxurious matte finish. It is recommended for rPET blow and injection molded applications and sheet products without the need for retooling. It is designed for use in mono, multilayer extrusion and heavy-wall applications. It can eliminate the scrap and waste resulting from traditional secondary processes such as spraying, dipping and bead blasting. It features a range of three finish and texture options such as Clara™ masterbatch that gives a subtle delustering effect with a smooth finish and Textura™ combines the luxurious matte finish of Clara™ with a textured surface. Both Clara™ & Textura™ allow the use of vibrant colors with a wide range of delustering options. Prima™ offers increased tactility and enhanced scuff resistance at high LDRs. Bottles produced with Prima™ demonstrates superior abrasion resistance. It is suitable for automotive, industrial and home care products.
