Ethylene glycol dimethyl ether. Used as a solvent, de-paint agent, thinner, flushing agent, stabilizer, antioxidant and thickener of lube. This complex is formed by the reaction of benzene, xenene, terphenyl, anthracene with sodium. It is colorless, transparent and soluble. Mainly used in polymer, electrochemistry, boracium chemistry, resin and nitro cellulose. It is also used in surface treatment, halogen analysis in gasoline and acetic acid recycle in diluted acetic acid.
