Luperox® 610EN50 by Arkema is non-frozen emulsion of 3 hydroxy-1,1-dimethyl butyl-peroxyneo-decanoate in water. It acts as an emulsion initiator. It is a very high activity initiator for use in suspension polymerizations of vinyl chloride to form PVC resins. The very short half-life of Luperox® 610EN50 emulsion initiator can improve conversion rates of vinyl chloride monomer to improve reactor efficiency. This efficiency is well demonstrated in resins with K values more than 65.
