NANOSTRENGTH® M22N

NANOSTRENGTH® M22N by Arkema is acrylic block copolymer. It acts as an impact modifier. It has medium-high molecular weight, and low-medium phase content. It is a new family of self-assembling block copolymer functional MAM, constituting of a center block of poly (butyl acrylate) and two side blocks of poly (methyl) methacrylate-co-polar comonomer. It self-organize at the nanometer scale blending with a polymer compatible with one of their blocks, it disperse easily and impose a structuration to the host matrix. This organization imparts unique combinations of properties, such as impact strength, high rigidity and transparency. It has applications as additive in engineering polymer and new class of transparent acrylic materials.
