A-3020

A-3020 by Astra Polymers is a hindered amine masterbatch with polyethylene (PE) resin as carrier. Acts as an ultraviolet stabilizer (UVS)/ultraviolet absorber (UVA). Is a conjugated organic system which absorbs UV radiation due to the double bonds within the molecules absorbing light energy in the UV region and re-emitting it in the IR region. It interrupts photodegradation process before light can get destructively underway. Offers free radical scavenging, peroxide decomposition and little energy absorption. A-3020 is designed for use in tapes, fibers, geotextiles, films, extrusion and injection molding applications.
