Ca-Zn Stearate SMS by Baerlocher is calcium stearate. It acts as a lubricant and release agent. Produced from high quality, tallow derived fatty acid. Due to its flake form, it is low dusting and shows good handling and feeding characteristics. Because of its purity and its good thermal stability, it is used for polyethylene. The free flowing nature of the product eliminates bridging or caking while facilitating use in any type of packaging, bulk handling or conveying system.
