Calcium Stearate FI-VEG AIB Hydense by Baerlocher is an calcium stearate. It has high bulk density, free flowing granular powder, produced from a high quality, vegetable derived fatty acid for polymer applications. It acts as a free flowing and low dusting processing aid with very good feeding and handling characteristics, and also as an effective acid scavenger, owing to the basicity of the calcium stearate. It offers low ash content and extremely good dispersibility. It provides high apparent density and relatively large average particle size to minimize the dust exposure and housekeeping problems in the workplace. It exhibits consistent chemical and mechanical properties. Meets FDA requirements under CFR21 for indirect food contact applications. Calcium Stearate FI-VEG AIB Hydense is used for PVC and polyolefin processing.
