Calcium Stearate Flowable

Calcium Stearate Flowable by Baerlocher is a calcium stearate, medium to high bulk density, free flowing, coarse powder, produced from a high quality tallow derived fatty acid for polymer applications particularly PVC, requiring a free flowing processing aid with good handling and feeding characteristics. Acts as an effective acid scavenger, owing to its basic nature. Offers moderate ash, basicity, and good dispersibility. Provides relatively high apparent density and good flow and handling characteristics. Exhibits consistent quality in chemical and mechanical properties. Used for PVC pipe and profile extrusion processes and for PVC and polyolefin processing. Calcium Stearate Flowable meets FDA regulations under CFR21 for indirect food contact applications and NSF Standard 14 listed ingredient for use in potable pipe.
