Zinc Stearate SW

Zinc stearate. Low bulk density, fine white powder produced from a high quality tallow derived fatty acid for applications requiring fine particle size processing aid, lubricant or acid scavenger with good flow and blending characteristics, including thermoplastic and thermoset resin compounding, powdered metal and rubber compounding. Provides acid catalyst neutralization for polyolefins and very good lubrication and mold release properties in other thermoplastic applications. Consistent physical properties provide very good blending and dispersion properties in color compounding and with a large variety of other materials. Controlled particle size and density contributes to consistent initial and aged viscosities in thermoset molding compounds, allowing for filler wetting and providing very good lubrication and surface quality in the molding process. Engineered particle size provides rapid and uniform mixing and very good lubrication properties with powdered metal and other inorganic materials. Ensures consistent quality in chemical and mechanical properties. Approved by FDA under regulations CFR21 for indirect food contact applications.
