EFKA® 8503 by BASF is a wetting and dispersing agent. It is used in the dispersing process of fillers in glass fibre reinforced plastics. It offers physical properties like impact resistance especially in systems filled with aluminum hydroxide. EFKA® 8503 is used in SMC and BMC in other filled and reinforced compounds.
