Irganox® 1010 ED

Irganox® 1010 ED by BASF is an odorless, tasteless, sterically hindered pentaerythritol tetrakis[3-[3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl] propionate antioxidant. It is a highly effective, non-discoloring stabilizer for organic substrates such as plastics, synthetic fibers, elastomers and protects these against thermo-oxidative degradation. It offers good compatibility, high resistance to extraction and low volatility. Irganox® 1010 ED is suitable for polyolefins & olefin copolymers, polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, polyacetals, polyamides and polyurethanes, polyesters and PVC applications. It is recommended for the processing of styrene homo- & copolymers, ABS, synthetic rubber and elastomers such as butyl rubber (IIR), SBS, SEBS, EPM and EPDM. Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.1% for polymer and 0.05-0.4% for polyolefins.
