Irganox® 245 DW

Irganox® 245 DW by BASF is a mixture of 40% triethylene glycol bis(3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl), polyvinyl alcohol and deionized water. It acts as a sterically hindered phenolic antioxidant for processing. Offers excellent heat stability, low color and high thermal stability. It protects the substrates against thermo-oxidative degradation during manufacturing, processing and end-use. It helps to considerably reduce the formation of fisheyes in film applications. It imparts excellent chain terminating properties during polyvinyl chloride (PVC) polymerization. Irganox® 245 DW is recommended at a usage level of 0.03–0.08%.
