Palamoll® 646

Palamoll® 646 by BASF is a mixture of hexanedioic acid, polymer with 1,3-butanediol and 1,4-butanediol, acetate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is slightly yellow, practically anhydrous liquid with a mild ester odor. It is soluble in usual organic esters, ketones, ethers, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons. It only has a slight tendency to migrate to plastics. Compatible with PVC. Palamoll® 646 is approved for food contact applications. It has a shelf life of one year.
