Tinuvin® PUR 866

Tinuvin® PUR 866 by BASF is a high-performance light stabilizer package. Suitable for transparent or light-colored TPU applications including synthetic leather.

Offers UV stabilization for polyurethane systems like thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), elastomers and RIM flexible foam applications.
Shows excellent initial color, superior color retention during UV exposure, enhanced long-term–thermal-stability and easy dosability.
Compatible with polyamides and other engineering plastics including aliphatic polyketone, styrene homo and copolymers, elastomers, TPE, TPV and epoxies, polyolefins and other organic substrates.
The usage level of Tinuvin® PUR 866 ranges between 0.1 % and 2.0 % depending on substrate and processing conditions.
