Uvinul® 3030 P

Uvinul® 3030 P by BASF is a 1, 3-bis-((2’-cyano-3’, 3’-diphenylacryloyl) oxy)-2, 2-bis-(((2’-cyano-3’, 3’-diphenylacryloyl) oxy) methyl)-propane grade. Acts as a UV absorber.

It is a low volatile grade belonging to cyanoacrylate class, imparting excellent light stability to engineering polymers.
It features maximal thermal stability and low initial color.
It can be used to stabilize highly transparent polymers with high extrusion temperatures.
Suitable for PET and PC co-extrusion due to its good compatibility with the production process and excellent stabilizing effect.
It provides excellent coverage over the most detrimental range of the UV spectrum for targeted substrates with a peak absorption of around 310 nm.
Uvinul® 3030 P usage levels range from 0.2 to 10%, depending on substrate and performance requirements of the final application.
