Odyssey OB-1 (CI 393) by Beijing Odyssey Chemicals is 2,2-(1,2-Ethenediyldi-4,1-phenylene) bisbenzoxazole. Acts as an optical brightener in polymer substrates such as PC, rigid PVC, ABS, PP, PS, HIPS, EVA and PA. Produces very brilliant white effect with neutral to blue-violet shade. Offers very good resistance to heat, exceptional whitening properties, and low volatility. Odyssey OB-1 (CI 393) is widely used in engineering plastics market and polymer fiber.
