XOP- 305

Chemical foaming agent. Characterized by endothermic decomposition. Used for low applications where a relatively fine cell structure is required at processing temperature around 175- 230°C ( 347- 446°F) . It is not recommended for injection molding. Maximum gas yields are achieved when processing temperatures of 180- 210°C ( 356-410°F) are reached. Usage level of extrusion is 0.2- 1.5% for chemical foaming and 0.1- 0.75% for nucleation of direct gas injection.
