BolderBlack®

BolderBlack® by Bolder Industries is a sustainable carbon black which acts as rubber reinforcing agent. It can be used as a black pigment in plastics. It is an environmentally responsible alternative to virgin carbon black (VCB) derived from end-of-life tires and petroleum-derived carbon black. It performs similarly to certain ASTM reference grades of VCB but possesses unique physical properties and performance characteristics. It is produced from 100% post-consumer or post-industrial tires and rubber scrap. BolderBlack® uses 90%+ less water and emits 90%+ fewer greenhouse gasses than traditional carbon black.
