Burgess 5178® by Burgess Pigment is a surface modified calcined aluminum silicate. Acts as a filler. It is hydrophobic and a has chemical bond between the calcined clay and the polymer. It has dispersion characteristics that dramatically improve over non-treated counterparts. Burgess 5178® has been specially designed to provide excellent wet and dry electrical properties through a proprietary surface treatment.
