BYK® -3155

BYK®-3155 by BYK is a silicone-free, polymer-based air release additive for PVC plastisols. This standard, all-purpose additive is a compound of polyoxyalkylene derivatives. It is especially recommended for unfilled, filled & foamed plastisols and recommended for plastisols containing BBP/Mesamoll. The recommended level is 0.2-1% additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with Directive 2011/65/EU (EU RoHS 2), as amended by the Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 (EU RoHS 3), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 and FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 Olefin polymers. It is suitable for food contact plastics. The shelf life of BYK®-3155 is 60 months.
