BYK® -354

BYK®-354 by BYK is a polyacrylate-based, surface additive. It is used as an anti-cratering & leveling additive, increases gloss and also has a deaerating effect as a result of its high molecular weight and non-polar structure. This thermally stable additive only reduces surface tension slightly. It is recommended for all ambient curing resin systems such as unsaturated polyester resins and epoxy resins. The recommended level is 0.1-1.5% additive (as supplied) based upon total formulation. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of BYK®-354 is 60 months.
