BYK® -361 N

BYK®-361 N by BYK is a polyacrylate-based surface additive. It is used as an anti-cratering and leveling additive. It improves leveling and prevents craters. It is a solvent-free version of BYK®-358 N. It only provides a minor reduction of the surface tension and facilitates the acceptance of spray mist and dust. It does not cause turbidity in non-pigmented systems or haze in pigmented systems. The additive is recommended for all ambient curing resin systems such as unsaturated polyester and epoxy resins. The recommended level is 0.1-0.5% additive (as supplied) based upon total formulation. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of BYK®-361 N is 60 months.
