BYK® -A 535

BYK®-A 535 by BYK is a silicone-free, air release additive for solvent-borne and solvent-free epoxy and polyurethane systems. It prevents foam and bubbles during the manufacture and application of ambient-curing plastic applications. It is particularly recommended for polyurethane-based floorings and casting systems (polymer concrete, mineral casting) that are based on epoxy resins. BYK®-A 535 is suitable for food materials (including drinking water). The recommended level is 0.1-1% additive (as supplied) based upon total formulation. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. It complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of this product is 36 months.
