BYK® -C 8003

BYK®-C 8003 by BYK is a reactive polymeric coupling agent for improving the mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced, radical curing systems based on unsaturated vinyl ester and polyester resins. The additive improves the mechanical properties of the component through increased fiber-matrix bonding. The extent of the improvement depends on the choice of the glass fiber and resin system. The recommended level is 1-3% additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA and PICCS. BYK®-C 8003 complies with EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU-Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging waste), CONEG Toxics in Packaging, EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of this product is 12 months.
