BYK® -P 9915

BYK®-P 9915 by BYK is viscosity depressant for polyols and polyurethane foam applications. It reduces the viscosity and improves the flow properties of the reactive blend and the homogenization of high-viscosity polyol blends with low-viscosity isocyanates. Due to its OH functionality, it can be incorporated into the system. It also has a positive effect when mixing the usually high-viscosity polyol blends with the relatively low-viscosity isocyanates. BYK®-P 9915 reacts with the isocyanate in the system via its hydroxyl groups. The recommended level is 0.5-5% additive (as supplied) based on the polyol. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, PICCS, IECSC, AICS, NZIoC and ECSI. It complies with EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU-Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging waste), CONEG Toxics in Packaging, EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of this product is 60 months.
