BYK® -S 781

BYK® -S 781 by BYK is an anti-tack agent which helps to prevent the surface tackiness of DCPD-containing resins as well as isophthalic and orthophthalic resins. It prevents the inhibiting effect of atmospheric oxygen on the resin surface through the formation of an optimal film. This ensures tack-free surfaces. The interlaminar adhesion is not affected, but should be tested. The recommended level for ambient curing resin systems is 0.5-1.5% additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, PICCS, IECSC, AICS, NZIoC and ECSI. It complies with EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU-Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging waste), CONEG Toxics in Packaging, EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of BYK® -S 781 is 36 months.
