BYK® -W 909

BYK®-W 909 by BYK is a wetting and dispersing additive to reduce the viscosity in highly filled UP casting resin systems. It reduces the viscosity of polyester casting resin systems (polymer concrete, artificial marble, onyx). It improves the flow behavior and the leveling of the resin mixture, without affecting the curing or the color. The recommended level is 0.5-1.5% additive (as supplied) based upon the fillers. With a filler content > 75%, the amount of additive should be 1-2% based upon the resin. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. BYK®-W 909 is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. The shelf life of this product is 48 months.
