BYK® -W 940

BYK®-W 940 by BYK is a wetting and dispersing additive for mineral fillers as well as inorganic and organic pigments. It prevents reduction in the flooding/floating of colored pigments in gel coats. It stabilizes the solid particles in resin systems. It prevents the flooding/floating and settling of pigments & fillers in VE/UP-based formulations for pultrusion applications. The recommended level for inorganic pigments is 0.5-3%, organic pigments is 2.5-5% and fillers is 0.5-1.5%. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, ENCS, PICCS, IECSC, AICS, NZIoC and ECSI. It complies with EU Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU-Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging waste), CONEG Toxics in Packaging, EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2) and REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. The shelf life of BYK®-W 940 is 60 months.
