SCONA® TSPOE 1002 GBLL

SCONA® TSPOE 1002 GBLL by BYK is a high impact strength modifier for polyamide 6, polyamide 6,6 & polyamide 12 & PET as well as compatibilizer for polyamide blends. It is ethylene octen copolymer functionalized with maleic anhydride. In polyamides, it significantly increases low-temperature impact strength, and for PET, it improves notch impact strength. In polyamide/PP blends, it provides improved impact strength and compatibility. Its low yellowness index makes the product suitable for lighter compounds as well. The recommended level is 3-15% additive (as supplied) based upon total formulation for polyamide, 6-18% additive (as supplied) based upon total formulation for PET and 2-8% additive (as supplied) for PA/PP blends in the PP content. SCONA® TSPOE 1002 GBLL has a shelf life of 36 months.
