BLACK PEARLS® 717

BLACK PEARLS® 717 by Cabot is a specialty carbon black (100%). Provides easy processing and good surface quality. Offers good coloration, dispersibility and excellent aesthetic performance. It a good choice over BLACK PEARLS® 800. It can typically be loaded into masterbatches at higher dosages than other carbon blacks used for similar applications while still maintaining good masterbatch dilutability. Shows good compatibility with acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) & other styrenics, polycarbonate (PC) & PC blends, polypropylene (PP) and thermoplastic polyolefin elastomer (TPO). It is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents and is insoluble in water. BLACK PEARLS® 717 is suitable for plastic molded parts. It is typically used for visible parts in appliances, sports, leisure & toys, housewares, packaging & containers with demanding requirements and automotive & electronics applications.
