CAB-O-SIL® DURAMOLD 2150

CAB-O-SIL® DURAMOLD™ 2150 by Cabot is a medium-high surface area fumed silica. Acts as a filler. It has a highly aggregated structure with minimal impurities. Exhibits upto 30% less grit that reduces screen pack maintenance, high purity & small particle size that improves light transmission & aesthetics and upto 10% improvement in tensile strength enabling high performance at reduced loading than typical BET 200 Fumed Silica. Possesses upto 15%improvement in tear strength and offers superior durability. It has been specifically tailored for maximum performance in high strength, high hardness, and high transparency elastomers, but also performs well in other HTV applications. CAB-O-SIL® DURAMOLD™ 2150 by Cabot is applicable for appliances, automotive, electrical, medical and consumer applications. Used in cable bushings, seals, gaskets, O-rings, boots & vibration dampers, reinforced insulating hoses, grommets, sockets & terminals, catheters, valves & bellows, respiratory masks, kitchen tools, diving masks, footwear and swimming caps.
