CESA™ light 7105

CESA™ light 7105 by Avient is a hindered amine-based UV light stabilizer masterbatch containing effective substance in PE carrier. It absorbs harmful UV radiation, dissipating it as harmless thermal energy. It basically acts as a radical interceptor, effectively inhibiting polymer degradation. Significant stabilization levels can be achieved at relatively low concentrations, regardless of wall thickness. It is believed that it converts nitro-oxyl free-radicals under photo-oxidative conditions and may also cause the deactivation of carbonyl groups. It is highly recommended for shrink film in polyethylene. It is used in food-, drug- and personal care product packaging, agricultural films, construction materials, lawn and garden equipment. The dosage level of CESA™ light 7105 is 1.5-2.5 %.
